Light Vehicle Mechanic

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our rapidly expanding team at the Gunnedah Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic to contribute to a dynamic team and grow within a reputable company.

  • Licensed Light Vehicle Mechanic cert III or equivalent
  • Motor Vehicle Tradespersons Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Vehicle Industry
  • AIS inspector an advantage but not a requirement
  • Service & general repairs various makes & models of Vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
  • Diagnose and repair system faults
  • Component change outs
  • Current Full drivers Licence (C required)
  • Experience in Motor Vehicle Repairs
  • Safety first attitude (essential)
  • Be committed, self-motivated and resourceful
  • Highly organised and have a sense of initiative – must be able to meet deadlines
  • Strong Customer Service background (essential)
  • Have vibrant personality and great customer service skills
  • Fluent understanding of service & parts manuals
  • Knowledge using vehicle diagnostics systems
  • Ability to work both alone and as a team
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Long term and secure role
  • Full time position
  • Monday to Friday 8 hr minimum plus optional overtime
  • Training program to further develop skills and competencies
  • Fully equipped workshop facilities with latest equipment and processes

  • Licensed Heavy Vehicle Mechanic cert III or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Heavy Vehicle Transport Industry
  • HVIAS inspector an advantage but not a requirement
  • Service & general repairs various makes & models of Trucks Trailers & stationary pumps/generators
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
  • Diagnose and repair system faults
  • Component change outs
  • Component rebuilds
  • Current Full drivers Licence (HR required)
  • Experience in On Highway Trucks & Trailers
  • Safety first attitude (essential)
  • Be committed, self-motivated and resourceful
  • Highly organised and have a sense of initiative – must be able to meet deadlines
  • Strong Customer Service background (essential)
  • Have vibrant personality and great customer service skills

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics/Fitters to join our rapidly expanding team.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in open cut mining in Australia (essential)
  • Carry out day to day maintenance on various vehicles/machines both onsite and in our workshop
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
  • Diagnose and repair system faults
  • Component change outs
  • Component rebuilds
  • Current Full drivers Licence (MR preferred)
  • Applicants with the following Workcover tickets preferred
  • EWP
  • Dogging
  • Forklift
  • Non-slew crane
  • Experience in Caterpillar, Hitachi & Komatsu Machines
  • Safety first attitude (essential)
  • Be committed, self-motivated and resourceful
  • Highly organised and have a sense of initiative – must be able to meet deadlines
